Beginning Monday, I will be working full-time doing Locations Assistant on the new Helen Hunt movie, "Then She Found Me" - that's HH writing, directing AND starring. I've heard nothing but good things about the crew, and my boss, a man named Yorgo, has already promised jam sessions with...whatever I got. I always tell people, "I rock the tympani." That always gets some "ums" and "oookays".

For awhile I was getting hooked up with the same job on the next Adam Sandler movie, but these guys interviewed me and liked me - and needed a commitment quick. I still hadn't heard back from the guy who was checking me out for the Sandler flick. Yorgo told me straight up when I mentioned the possible conflict: sure I'd be getting more money, but I'd be more babysitting than learning new skills. He showed me what we're up against - the neighborhood people around our sets - and I know that deal-making is a skill I need to level up in. Get that shit? That shit is gamer shit. SHIT>
