long story SHORT

phew!+_)!

Been a long weekend, internet! First off, the anticipation for Z to get back was super-intense. At first I thought she would come up last week, but instead she toured the East Coast w/her mom and stopped in places like Racoon Caverns and Chattanooga. That was cool. Finally, she was on her way from LeRoy to Albany, both of us ready to spend some real quality time together (after 4 months of her being in inaccessable Atlanta) when she gets a phone call.

The people from Big Big World (a new PBS puppet show!) want her to puppet wrangle...on Monday. We both freak out. This is an awesome opportunity, she'll learn so much, she'll just be 4 hours away in the Hamptons, blah blah blah and a day later we're cool w/it. phew!

The good news is we just had a kick-ass weekend seeing a puppet show in the middle of a field, playing 36 HardCore Holes of minigolf and getting stuffed with icecream. The bad is that she'll be at this new job for 5 months. I guess it's not so bad, since she'll be MUCH more accessible in Long Island, but it still kinda sucks. We make an awesome duo and my superpowers are zapped when she's away. She's the Jana to my Jace, the strawberry to my rhubarb.
