vacation
To the two loyal readers (including one girlfriend and .. you know who you are):
I am taking a break.
This upcoming week I'll be road-tripping down to Atlanta to see Z, afterwhich I'll be at Willard the following week.
Two weeks off of..Albany. Two weeks off from Academy work...hopefully when I get back they'll actually have some more for me to do. Two weeks of avoiding weirdo neighbors, two weeks of not eating pasta every night, two weeks, yes, 14 days and a lot of minutes.
If I'm not seeing you on the way to or from: expect pictures.

and I freaking got an assist in the DOCS Olympics, in our one victory! One out of three = no medal.
I had fun and didn't care if we were losing 6-0 against better players. That felt good, to not give a crap.
Hey. So this will probably be awkward, but what the hell.
I was searching through jobs here cause I'm sick of mine and I stumbled onto something that MIGHT strike your fancy. I tried to find your email to send you the link to the actual job posting but they took it down.
The job is for position of Television Production Supervisor for SUNY Albany's systems. I don't know if you're trying to find a better job then the one you got, but it never hurts to know what's out there. Although the posting was taken down, you had to mail in a cover letter and a resume anyway. They're not going to get back to the applicants for six to twelve weeks because they have a search committeee so if you want, there may still be a chance to get yours in if you wanted to try.
I'll try to get your e-mail from someone, or even, have them send the address if you're interested.
